The Challenge
Companies with field teams — sales visits, service calls, distributed staff — had no reliable picture of where work actually happened. Attendance was self-reported, visits went unverified, and field reports arrived late or not at all.
The Solution
Ezzi Work put attendance and field activity on one platform:
- Workforce attendance for office and field staff
- Field-sales visit tracking with location context
- Structured field reporting from a mobile-first app
- Monitoring dashboards for team leads and management
Technical Approach
Ezzi Work ran as one of three product lines on the multi-tenant infrastructure I architected at Elang System — the same AWS, Kubernetes, and Istio foundation that served Ezzi School, operated by a shared cross-functional team I built and directed.
Key decisions:
- Shared platform: one infrastructure and delivery cadence across all three products
- Mobile-first: the field app was the product — designed for spotty connectivity and quick capture
- One team: backend, mobile, QA, and DevOps working a single sprint cadence across product lines
